  1. Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Sports has received funds to be used for the acquisition of Training supplies (Furniture, Computer, Equipment and Textbooks)-BADEA

  2. The Entity invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above supplies
  3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open Open Domestic Bidding method contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003, and is open to all bidders.
  4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at 8(a) from - .
  5. The Bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below at 8(b) and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of 200,000 UGX. The method of payment will be N/A
  6. Bids must be delivered to the address below at 8(c) at or before Tuesday, 02 Feb, 2016 . Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 8(d) on 02/02/2016 10:00 AM

    The Government of Uganda (GOU), represented by the Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development (MOFPED), has secured a Loan from the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa (BADEA) toward the cost of the CETIN Project under Loan No. 691 and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this Loan to eligible payments under the contracts for which this bid notice is issued. The packaging of the training supplies under the project is summarized below: Lot 1: Supply & Installation of Furniture Lot 2: Supply & Installation of Workshop Equipment Lot 3: Supply of Text Books Lot 4: Supply of ICT Equipment The Ministry of Education, Science, Technology & Sports (MOESTS), now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the above supplies. The bidding process, under Open Domestic Bidding, is based on the bidding documents approved by BADEA and the MOESTS. The process for Lot 1 is through Local Tender, while for Lot 2, 3 and 4 is through Local Agents. In addition to specific other guidance on the procurement process, the bidding document contains the detailed eligibility and evaluation criteria to be applied.
