  1. Ministry of Works and Transport has received funds to be used for the acquisition of Procurement of survey equipment
  2. The Entity invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above supplies
  3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open Open International Bidding(OIB) method contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003, and is open to all bidders.
  4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at 8(a) from - .
  5. The Bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below at 8(b) and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of 100,000 UGX. The method of payment will be Though the Bank
  6. Bids must be delivered to the address below at 8(c) at or before Thursday, 10 Nov, 2016 . All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of 13,000,000 UGX or a bid securing declaration. Bid securities or bid securing declarations must be valid until Thursday, 10 Nov, 2016 . Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 8(d) on 10/11/2016

    Standard Gauge Railway Project Ministry of Works and Transport Standard Invitation to Bidders BID NOTICE UNDER OPEN BIDDING September 30th, 2016 Supply of Land Survey Equipment for the Standard Gauge Railway Project - MOWT/SUPLS/2015-16/00120 1. The Ministry of Works and Transport has allocated funds to be used for the acquisition of Land Survey Equipment for the Standard Gauge Railway Project. 2. The Entity invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above supplies. 3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open international bidding method contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003, and is open to all bidders. 4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at 8(a) from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (local time) Mondays to Fridays except public holidays. 5. The Bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below at 8(a) and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 100,000 (Uganda Shillings One hundred thousand only). The method of payment will be Bank Payment Advice Form (BPAF) obtainable from the Cash Office of the Ministry of Works and Transport, Plot 57-59, Jinja Road, Kampala, Uganda. Bidders will then be issued with the Bidding Document at the address given at 8(a) below upon presentation of documentary proof of bank payment. 6. Bids must be delivered to the address below at 8(a) at or before 11:00 am (local time) on 10th November, 2016. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of UGX 13,000,000 or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency. Bid securities or bid securing declarations must be valid until 8th May 2017. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 8(a) at 11:30 am (local time) on November 10th, 2016. 7.
