  1. Ministry of Works and Transport has received funds to be used for the acquisition of Maintenance and repair of Motor Vehicles and motor cycles
  2. The Entity invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above supplies
  3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open Open Domestic Bidding method contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003, and is open to all bidders.
  4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at 8(a) from 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM .
  5. The Bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below at 8(b) and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of 100,000 UGX. The method of payment will be Though the Bank
  6. Bids must be delivered to the address below at 8(c) at or before Wednesday, 03 May, 2017 . All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of 4,000,000 UGX or a bid securing declaration. Bid securities or bid securing declarations must be valid until Wednesday, 03 May, 2017 . Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 8(d) on 03/05/2017

    Standard Gauge Railway Project Ministry of Works and Transport BID NOTICE UNDER OPEN DOMESTIC BIDDING 3rd April 2017 SUPPLY OF MOTOR VEHICLE TYRES UNDER FRAMEWORK CONTRACT. REF - MOWT/SUPLS/2016-17/00303 1. The Ministry of Works and Transport has allocated funds to be used for the acquisition of Motor Vehicle tyres for the Standard Gauge Railway Project. 2. The Entity invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above supplies. 3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Open Domestic bidding method contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003, and is open to all bidders. 4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at 7 from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (local time) Mondays to Fridays except public holidays. 5. The Bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below at 7 and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 100,000 (Uganda Shillings One hundred thousand only). Payment will be made in the Bank. Bank Payment Advice Form (BPAF) is obtainable from any of the commercial Banks recognised by the Central Bank of Uganda. Bidders will then be issued with the Bidding Document at the address given at 7 below upon presentation of documentary proof of bank payment. 6. Bids must be delivered to the address below at 7 at or before 11:00 am (local time) on 3rd May, 2017. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of UGX 4,000,000 (Four Million) or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency. Bid securities must be valid until 1st December 2017.
