The Government of Uganda has received Financing from the African Development Bank in
various currencies towards the cost of Farm Income Enhancement and Forest Conservation
Programme: Project-2 (FIEFOC -2). It is intended that part of the proceeds of this loan will be applied
to eligible payments under the Contract for Procurement of Works for the Construction of
Irrigation Schemes Infrastructure and Facilities in Nebbi, Oyam, Kasese, Butaleja And Kween
Districts:- Lot 1: Wadelai Irrigation Scheme in Nebbi District
The Ministry of Water and Environment now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the
execution of the works for Construction of irrigation infrastructure comprising of earth impounding
structures, storage reservoirs, hydraulic and flood control structures, canals and drainage system,
access roads and scheme facilities among others.
International Competitive Bidding (ICB) will be conducted in accordance with the “Bank’s Rules and
various currencies towards the cost of Farm Income Enhancement and Forest Conservation
