The UNPD Regional Procurement Office (RPO) in Entebbe, Uganda intends to establish a regional systems contract for provision of timber and related products on an "as-needed basis". The regional systems contract is for a proposed duration of an initial period of two (02) years with a possiblity of three one-year extension options making the total of 05 years (2+1+1+1) years. The missions expected to be involved may include but not limited to; MONUSCO, UNSOS, MINUSCA, UNISFA, UNAMID and UNMISS.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE GOODS REQUIRED

1) Timber log, hard or soft with various dimensions ranging from 12mmx25mmx4m to 300mmx300mmx5m. Estimated aggregated annual quantity is 81,000 pieces.

2) Plywood of various thickness ranging from 6mm to 25mm and size of 1200mmx2400mm. Estimated aggregated annual quantity is 39,000 pieces.

3) Chipboard of various thickness ranging from 6mm to 30mm and size of 1200mmx2400mm. Estimated aggregated annual quantity is 2,600 pieces.

6) Other related products including wooden parquet flooring tiles, rough unplaned wood, melamine MDF sheets. Estimated aggregated annual quantity is 8,500 pieces.

All quantities above are estimates only which are subject to change during solicitation and contract execution stages.

Incoterms applicable in this requirement include FCA (point of exit) and DAP (to respective mission locations) as per inconterms 2010. Possible DAP locations include but not limited to Entebbe, Goma, Mombasa, Bangui and Abyei. Delivery may be required in other mission locations.
