Action for Rural Women’s Empowerment (ARUWE) is a non-profit, Non-Governmental Organization working with marginalized groups of people, especially rural women and children in Uganda. ARUWE registered as NGO in 2008.

ARUWE has received financing from Cromic Relief through Emerge Poverty Free (EPF) toward the cost of Transform and empower the lives of 900 subsistence farming families in rural Uganda project, and intends to apply part of the agreed amount for this grant to payments under the contract for a baseline survey to collect project monitoring data in line with the project logical framework.

The services included under this assignment are baseline survey to determine:

a)      Baseline farmers’ household income, household assets and savings

b)      Baseline farmers crop production volumes and traded

c)       Baseline household food security, nutrition and health

d)      Women experiences financial empowerment and decision making

Action for Rural Women’s Empowerment (ARUWE) now invites eligible consultant/firms to indicate their interest in providing these services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, technical understanding of the assignment, financial implication etc).
