The Inspectorate of Government (IG) is an entity of the Government of the Republic of Uganda (GOU) involved in promoting good governance through enhancing accountability, transparency and enforcement of the rule of law and administrative justice in public office.

The IG has received financing from the Government of Uganda to develop its proposed head office building on the land situated at plot Nos 71-75, Yusuf Lule Road and 24-26, Clement Hill Road in Kampala, Uganda.

The Inspectorate of Government (IG) now invites suitably qualified bidders to submit sealed bids for the Construction of the Inspectorate of Government Head Office building in Kampala.

The pre-qualification of bidders will be conducted in accordance with the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003(as amended) , and is open to all eligible bidders.

Interested Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the pre-qualification document from Inspectorate of Government (IG) at the address given below from 03/01/2018 to 16/01/2018, Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 5.00pm (local time).

The bids will be evaluated in accordance with the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003 (as amended) of the Government of Uganda and against the criteria outlined in the Pre-qualification Document and the Terms of Reference there in. The IG will only reply to those pre-qualified bidders short-listed for invitation to tender
