African Initiatives for Relief and Development-AIRD Uganda is non-governmental, non-political, non-religious and non-profit making International NGO. AIRD is currently working in 9 African countries in East, Central and West Africa.

AIRD’s objective is to offer operational support, including but not limited to: supply chain, logistics, construction, infrastructure, environment, livelihoods and WASH in partnership with relief and development organizations with focus on disaster-affected and development oriented areas.

AIRD invites potential bidders to submit in their proposal for the following services in FY 2018:

ʉۢ Medical Insurance Scheme (300 staff)

• Group Life and Accident Insurance Scheme (440 staff) Eligible bidders for the above services should have the following information in mind:

• Current trading license

• Similar experience in the service provision.

• Certificate of incorporation

• Management team profile

ʉۢ Proof of legal registration in Uganda.

• Tax Identification Number and Valid URA Tax Certificate

• Current bank account statements with good bank balance and Cash flow.

• High knowledge of emergency situations.

ʉۢ Wide area coverage for staff (countrywide)

• A full proposal on services offered as per AIRD need.

Please note that there could be changes in the number of staff in future although for now the above can be considered. Bids MUST be picked from: AIRD/UNHCR Office in Kampala Plot 1, Martyrs way Ntinda Industrial Area.

Qualified and interested bidders should submit their sealed bids to: The Tender Committee (C/O Head-Procurement Department), AIRD/UNHCR, Plot 1 Martyrs way Ntinda. P.O Box 32225, Kampala beginning 15th and not later than 23rd January 2018.
