1. The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development has allocated funds for acquisition of Supply of Materials, Installation of Infra sound Array Station and Commissioning in Uganda.

2. The Entity invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Supply of Materials, Installation of Infrasound Array Station and Commissioning in Uganda.

 3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Open Domestic Bidding procedures contained in Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act 2003, and are open to all bidders.

4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below in No. 8 from 08:30am — 4:30pm during working hours.

5. The Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application on the applicant's letter head to the address below in No. 8 and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 100,000/=. The method of payment will be: a) By bank advice form(s) to be collected from Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development, Cash Office, Room A113 on 1st Floor Amber House. A receipt will be issued upon payment. b) Payment made at Diamond Trust Bank, Kampala Road. c) Bidders return a copy of the payment slip to cash office for a General Receipt. d) On presentation of a General Receipt to the Procurement and Disposal Unit in Room C109 on 1st Floor Amber House, Bidders will be issued with a bid document. The document can be obtained by the bidders' representatives or sent by courier services at the bidders' cost. No liability will be accepted for the loss or late delivery.

6. Bids must be delivered to the address in No. 8 below at or before 10:00am on 26/03/2018. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of UGX 16,000,000/=. Bid securities must be valid till 06/11/2018. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders' representatives, who choose to attend at the address below in No.8 on 26/03/2018 at 10:15 am.

 7. There shall be a pre — bid meeting at Amber House, 1st Floor, Board Room C 109 on 07/03/2018 at 10:30am.

8. Documents may be inspected at, purchased from, delivered to and opened from: The Procurement and Disposal Unit, Amber House, Plot 29/33, Kampala First Floor, room C109.
