PUBLIC NOTICE
SENSITIZATION AND REGISTRATION OF YOUTH, WOMEN & PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES (PWDs) ON 30% PROCUREMENT OPPORTUNITIES
The Water Resources Authority (WRA) is a State Corporation established pursuant to Section 11 of the Water Act, 2016. The Authority is the designated agent on behalf of the National Government mandated to regulate the management and use of water resources.
Pursuant to Sec. 157 (10) of the PPADA 2015, WRA intends to hold sensitization workshop including registration of the special groups. This exercise aims to enhance awareness, build capacity, increase transparency and promote allocation of 30% procurement opportunities.
The workshop will take place at National Office-NHIF Building, Regional Offices Ewaso Nyiro Catchment Area Nanyuki, Athi Catchment Area Machakos, Lake Victoria North Catchment Area Kakamega, Rift Valley Catchment Area Nakuru, Lake Victoria South Catchment Area Kisumu and Tana Catchment Area Embu which will take place concurrently on 29TH March, 2018 from 9.30AM to 1PM
This invitation is extended to all the suppliers, contractors, consultants and service providers under the special groups’ categories.
Interested and eligible youth, women and persons with disability are invited to register by submitting the following documents:
1. Application letter addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, requesting to be registered as a supplier/contractor/service provider/consultant (specify your area of interest)
2. Company registration certificate or business name
3. Valid AGPO certificate
4. Directors identification documents
5. Latest CR12 certificate for limited companies
6. I-Tax PIN certificate and valid Tax compliance certificate
7. Detailed company profile
8. Audited accounts or proof of holding a bank account
9. Authority’s certificates e.g NCA, IAT e.t.c To confirm attendance of this exercise please send email to, procurement.wrma@gmail.com indicating the region of interest. For more details visit www.wra.go.ke

Submission Process
Interested bidders are required to send their registration details to Water Resources Headquarters and regional offices. Sensitization exercise for Youth, Women and Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) will take place in both Headquarters and Regional offices on 29th March 2018. from 9.30am to 1pm
