1. The National Agricultural Advisory Services (NAADS) has allocated funds to be used for supply and delivery, installation, testing and commissioning of a complete 5 MT per hour Mango processing line equipment under open international bidding.

2. NAADS invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above supplies.

3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open international bidding and open domestic bidding procedures contained in the Government of Uganda's Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003.

4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at 8(a) from 8:00am to 5:00pm.

5. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be obtained by interested bidders on submission of a written application to the address in No. 8(a) below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX.100,000 (Uganda Shillings One hundred thousand only). The documents should be physically collected from the address in No. 8 (a).

6. Bids must be delivered to the address in No. 8(a) or before the date in No. 9(b) at 10.00am. All bids must be accompanied by bid security of 70,000,000.

Bid securities must be valid until 31^st December 2018. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders' representatives, who may choose to attend at the address in No. 8(b) at 11.00 am on 10th May 2018.

7. There shall be a pre — bid meeting at the address in No. 8 (b), on 19thApril 2018 at 11:00 Oclock.

9. The planned procurement schedule (subject to changes) is as follows;

a. Publish bid notice:      10th April 2018

b. Bid closing date:         10th May 2018 at 10:00 O'clock

c. Evaluation process:     Within 20days after opening the bids

d. Display and communication of best evaluated bidder notice:   (Within 5 working days from Contracts Committee award)

 e. Contract signature:     (After expiry of at least 10 working days from display of the best evaluated bidder notice and Solicitor General's approval).

10. The bidding document will be available from 12th April 2018 at 9:00 O'clock
