University Research Co., LLC (URC), a US-based company working in Uganda since 2005, is implementing the USAID-funded Regional Health Integration to Enhance Services in East Central Uganda Activity (USAID's RHITES EC). The purpose of this project is to support the implementation of a comprehensive, integrated investment in regional health, HIV/AIDS and nutrition assistance. This five-year activity targets 11 districts in East-Central Uganda with an estimated total population of 4.1 million through a district-based integrated package of quality health, HIV/AIDS, nutrition and child development services.

USAID's RHITES-EC supports implementation of laboratory systems strengthening activities at 122 public health facilities including nine designated laboratory specimen and test results transportation hubs (Jinja RRH, Bugiri Hospital, Iganga Hospital, Kamuli Hospital, Masafu Hospital, Kidera HC IV, Bumanya HC IV, Kingandalo HC IS and Buyinja HC IV).

URC is hereby inviting interested and eligible vendors to submit sealed tenders for Supply and Delivery of the required Ancillary Laboratory Equipment. The details are included in the bidding document. The following are mandatory requirements that must be submitted together with the bid.

• Copy of valid 2018 trading license

• Proof of having experience in supply of similar equipment

• Vendor must indicate a delivery period in their bid.

• Vendor must indicate their offered technical specification and state whether they meet/ comply with our required minimum technical specifications. All bids that don't meet the required minimum technical specifications will be disqualified.

TENDER SUBMISSION:

Sealed tenders clearly marked; Tender for the Supply and Delivery of Ancillary Laboratory Equipment should be addressed and delivered to Chief of Party URC/USAID's RHITES-EC, Jinja Uganda, Plot 1 East Victoria Close, Mpumudde Division, P.0 Box 5053" to reach us by Tuesday 15th May 2018 at 3:00 pm. Late bids shall be rejected. No electronic bids are allowed.
