The Rural Electrification Agency has received funding from the Islamic Development Bank with counterpart funding from the Government of Uganda to continue improving electricty access to Ugandans for socio-economic transformation. The projects will also contribute towards the stimulation of industrialization, job creation, improved livelihoods and enhanced social services provision; and thus increased connection of users countrywide
