1. The Government of Uganda (GOU) has received funding from the World Bank toward the cost of the Uganda Support to Municipal Infrastructure development in Arua Municipal Council.

2. The USMID Program, under the Ministry of Lands, Housing and Urban Development intends to apply part of the funds to Rehabilitate Duka Road located in Arua Municipality.

3. Arua Municipality now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for implementation of the selected infrastructure project in the Municipality of Arua.

4. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open domestic bidding procedures contained in the Government of Uganda's Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act and Regulation 2003 and the Local Government Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act and Regulation 2003 and is open to all eligible bidders.
