Background Save the Children, in consortium with other partners under the leadership of Mercy Corps, is currently implementing the "Karamoja Food and Nutrition Security Activity" to improve the food and nutrition security of vulnerable households in Kaabong, Kotido, Amudat and Moroto districts of Karamoja. This activity is referred to as Apolou Project and aims to contribute to USAID strategic objectives for Karamoja by working with households, community leaders, Government of Uganda and other development partners. The four interwoven purpose areas in Apolou include 1) Governance; 2) Maternal and Child Health and Nutrition (MCH/N); 3) Water and Sanitation (WASH) and 4) Livelihoods, which all include social behavior change (SBC) components and support gender-transformative and resilience outcomes for girls, boys, men and women in Karamoja.

Save the Children invites interested, eligible and competent firms or consultants to bid through open domestic bidding.

As part of the design and implementation process of social behavior change (SBC) interventions for the Apolou activities, Save the Children seeks to pre-qualify services of professional companies to provide the following services for the period June 2018 to September 2020:

A. Advertising/Creative services.

B. Experiential services.

C. SBCC concept and materials field testing.
