Kotido Municipal council expects to receive funds from the Government of Uganda under various programmes and intends to apply them towards the cost of execution of works, supply, and services, the entity now invites sealed bids from competent firms/ contractors to execute the following categorical projects.
INVITATION FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION
Kotido municipal council invites applications from eligible firms for pre-qualification of providers of works, supplies, and services for financial year 2018/2019 below:
1 Construction of pit latrines
2 Construction of water borne toilets
3 Construction and renovation of market shades
4 Construction and Renovation of buildings and structures
5 Supply of school furniture
6 Supply of motor cycles
7 Supply of fuel, Lubricants and oils
8 Supply of Laptop computers and accessories
9 Supply of Office equipments
10 Supply of office furniture
11 Supply of solar systems
12 Supply and installation of street lights
13 Supply of office stationery materials
14 Supply of culverts
15 Supply of protective gears
16 Supply of Beds
17 Provision of catering services
15 Maintenance and servicing of motor vehicles
19 Maintenance of motor cycles
20 Collection of revenue from Public Health places
21 Provision of printing, photocopying and stationery services
22 Servicing and Maintenance of computers, accessories and photocopiers
23 Collection of revenue from kanawat cattle market
24 Collection of revenue from Kotido central commodity market
25 Collection of Local hotel tax within the municipality
26 Provision of printed stationery
1. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with bidding procedures contained in the government of Uganda PPDAAct 2003, PPDA local government regulations 2006 and PPDA local government guidelines 2008.
2. Interested bidders may obtain further information from the Head of the PDU Kotido Municipal Council or check the bidding documents for relevant information and condition of bidding. The bidding documents can be inspected from the PDU from 8:00am to 5:00pm on working days only.
3. A Complete set of bidding documents in English can be obtained upon payment of a non-refundable fee of sh 30,000( thirty thousand shillings only) to: Kotido Municipal Council General fund Account No 6212300013 with centenary bank kotido branch and there after obtain a general receipt from the accounts section in the Municipal Head Quarters.
4. Bidding documents are available in the procurement office and the venue for bid submission will be in the same office, all bids returned must be registered before being dropped in the Bid box.
5. In addition, one original and two copies to be returned which must be properly sealed in envelopes and clearly labeled: " bid for and addressed to the Head of Procurement and Disposal Unit Kotido Municipal Council P.0 Box 2 kotido
6. Bid closing date is 6"July/2018 at exactly 10:30 am and opening shall be at 11 AM in the presence of bidders or their representatives who may wish to attend
7. Late submission of bids shall be rejected
