The Office of the Auditor General (0AG) is the Supreme Audit Institution (SAI) of Uganda. The Auditor General is mandated by Article 163 (3) of the Constitution of the Republic of Uganda, 1995 (as amend.) and Section 13 of the National Audit Act, 2008, to audit and report on the public accounts of Uganda and of all Public offices, including the Courts, the Central and Local Government Administrations, Universities and Public Institutions of like nature, and any Public Corporation or other bodies or Organizations established by an Act of Parliament.

Article 163 (3) (d) of the Constitution of the Republic of Uganda, 1995 (as amended) and Section 23 of the National Audit Act, 2008 empower the Auditor General to engage private auditors to assist him or her in the performance of his or her functions.

1. The Office of the Auditor General prequalified audit firms for the financial years 2016/2017, 2017/2018 and 2018/2019.

2. The Office of the Auditor General is now in the process of updating the Prequalified List in accordance with Section 4(11-12) of the Out Sourcing Polio/ 2015.

3. Invitation of audit firms to be prequalified. Providers who were not prequalified should submit their bids for consideration.

4. Interested eligible firms should pick Bid solicitation documents from the Office of the Auditor General from 9.00am to 4.00pm from Thursday 129. July 2018 to the date of bid closing.

5. The prequalification bid document, copy of the out sourcing Policy and Guidelines will be collected from Secretary Out Sourcing, Office of the Auditor General Audit House, Apollo Kagwa Road, Third Level.

6. The pre-qualification Bid submissions must be delivered to the aforementioned address in No.5 and addressed to;

The Auditor General, Office of the Auditor General, Plot 2C Apollo Kagwa Road Audit house, P. O. Box 7083, Kampala, Uganda. At or before 11:00am, Friday 3'd August 2018 and Late bids will not be accepted.
