  1. Ministry of Works and Transport has received funds to be used for the acquisition of Low Cost Sealing Works on Selected District Roads.
  2. The Entity invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above supplies
  3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open Open Domestic Bidding method contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003, and is open to all bidders.
  4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at 8(a) from 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM .
  5. The Bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below at 8(b) and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of 50,000 . The method of payment will be Through Bank - URA collection Account
  6. Bids must be delivered to the address below at 8(c) at or before Thursday, 29 Nov, 2018 . All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of 30,000,000 or a bid securing declaration. Bid securities or bid securing declarations must be valid until Monday, 27 May, 2019 . Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 8(d) on 29/11/2018
  7. There shall be a pre - bid meeting on 05/11/2018 at 10:00 AM

The Government of Uganda through the Ministry of Works and Transport has allocated funds to be used for acquisition of low cost sealing of selected District Roads. 2. The Ministry invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above works in the following lots: i) Lot 1: Nyaruzigati-Kyapa-Kitabu Road Section A (5km) in Kasese District; ii) Lot 2: Nyaruzigati-Kyapa-Kitabu Road Section B (5.7Km) in Kasese District; iii) Lot 3: Kyerima-Nakaseeta-Lukonda Road Section A (6.0Km) in Kayunga District; iv) Lot 4: Kyerima-Nakaseeta-Lukonda Road Section B (6.0Km) in Kayunga District; v) Lot 5: Kisozi-Nawanyago Road Section A (4.0Km) in Kamuli District; vi) Lot 6: Kisozi-Nawanyago Road Section B (4.6Km) in Kamuli District; vii) Lot 7: Bufulubi-Kyando-Buyemba Road Section A (5.6Km) in Mayuge District. 3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open domestic bidding method contained in the Government of Uganda’s Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003, Regulations 2014. 4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at 8(a) from 8:00am to 5:00pm on working days. 5. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested eligible bidders upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 50,000/= (Uganda Shillings Fifty Thousand Shillings only). The method of payment will be through bank -URA collection Account by using Bank advice form which can be obtained on URA website. 6. Pre-bid meeting shall take place on 05th November 2018 at 10:00am at Ministry of Works and Transport, Contracts Committee Boardroom, Plot 57/59 Old Portbell Road, P.O. Box 7174, KAMPALA. 7. Bids must be delivered to the address below at 8 (b) at or before 11:00am (Local Time) on 29th November 2018. Late bids shall be rejected. All bids must be accompanied with a bid security of UGX 30,000,000= (Uganda Shillings Thirty Million only) per lot. Bid securities must be valid until 04th July, 2019. 8.
