  1. Ministry of Works and Transport has received funds to be used for the acquisition of Supply and Delivery of Gabions
  2. The Entity invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above supplies
  3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open Open Domestic Bidding method contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003, and is open to all bidders.
  4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at 8(a) from 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM .
  5. The Bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below at 8(b) and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of 100,000 . The method of payment will be Through Bank - URA collection Account
  6. Bids must be delivered to the address below at 8(c) at or before Wednesday, 27 Mar, 2019 . All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of 98,000,000 or a bid securing declaration. Bid securities or bid securing declarations must be valid until Tuesday, 17 Sep, 2019 . Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 8(d) on 27/03/2019
  7. There shall be a pre - bid meeting on 12/03/2019

PROCUREMENT REFERENCE NUMBER: MOWT/SPLS/18-19/00441. 1. The Ministry of Works and Transport has allocated/received funds to be used for the acquisition of Gabions. 2. The Entity invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above supplies. 3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open bidding method contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003, and is open to all bidders. 4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at 8(a) from 08:30hrs – 1700hrs. 5. The Bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below at 8(b) and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of (UGX 100,000), Uganda Shillings One Hundred Thousand shillings. The method of payment will be through the bank by use of bank advice forms which may be obtained from URA website. 6. Bids must be delivered to the address below at 8(c) at or before 11:00 am local time on 27th March, 2019. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of Uganda Shilling Ninety Eight Million only (UGX 98,000,000) amount in local currency. Bid securities must be valid until 15th October, 2019. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 8(a) at 11:30am on 27th March, 2019. 7.
