Azer Mechatronics PLC is a company formed by educated, motivated and experienced engineers with the vision of becoming a world class innovative company that can contribute to the economic and technological development of the country. It was first established on September 13/2012.  Its main business areas are design, installation and maintenance of solar power systems, electrical power distribution and transmission systems, electromechanical systems and devices, water works construction systems such as irrigation and water supply systems and so on.

The head office of the company is located in Addis Ababa, Yeka Sub City, woreda 08 Kebele 13/14 House No. 003/203 and it forms temporary offices at project sites as needed. The company has so far employed 8 professionals on permanent basis and more than 33 professionals on contractual basis. Moreover, it has adequate number of daily laborers that meet the requirements specified by any business contract it is engaged in.

Apart from service giving, Azer Mechatronics PLC has a vision to be a competent and world class company in design and manufacture of specialized mechatronics devices such as Variable frequency drives, intelligent pump and generator control panels and Distribution automation systems etc. Azer mechatronics engineers not only design and install power system devices but also are engaged in various research and development activities particularly related to solar and wind power systems. Considering the vast potential that our country has in these energy resources, Azer Mechatronics Inc. concentrates on research and training of solar and wind based power systems and design and installation of electromechanical systems related to solar and wind systems.
