I still run the company as the general contractor.

PROBLEM STATEMENT 

 Small sized rooms

These can be kitchen, leaving room, bedrooms, and store, among others. Hence lack of enough space to facilitate in door to accommodate the growing population within your home.

2.     displayed brick work/block wall surfaces

These most times harbour insects such as mosquitoes, cockroaches since they tend to have dark holes and dull appearance. Due to corrosion effect on these wall surfaces results into falling of durst thus poor healthy standards of leaving to you and the entire family under this kind of building.

3.     Poor sanitation

This is to bring to your notice that yeah you definitely promote proper sanitation around your home and within, this is right! But research has shown that most of homes/institutions/public buildings without drainage system installed in place, it has always and continuously led to difficulty in cleaning since the entire building is not connected to the liable water sources to facilitate in the general cleaning of your home hence making the life hard, and also delay in cleaning around your building.

4.     Creaky floor

This is mostly detected in old and poor stylish floorings. For example in cement sand screed floorings, holes develop and this is brought about by moving heavy objects, and especially poor workmanship. Mostly when curing is not implemented for the correct period and when the screeding is applied after the sand floor dries up. In turn due to drying shrinkage the floor cracks thus difficulty in cleaning activities such as mopping since the final result remains a poor appearance.

5.     Cracked walls

These are caused by the settlement of the structure due to various effects though the most one is earth movement. You should be alert because these kinds of walls are so sensitive in case of any weather condition. Though in sunny conditions earth quake may occur as surprise attack to your entire building, can directly shoot the cracked walls leading to their complete demolition in turn as they fall will result to destruction of other properties within the affected rooms and also may result to loss of lives.

The same as in rainy seasons but i would like you to know that here it worsens, all cracked walls will be forced to settle and definitely this will repeat simultaneously whenever it appears to rain. Due to the repetitive cycle harsh weather conditions shooting your entire building, it will be forced down not only the cracked walls but with other connected/jointed walls since they will be wet and weakened by the effect of water leading to loss of lives, loss of equity, and destruction of your property.

6.     Darkness indoors

This is mostly bad during daytime. Inadequate light or no light reaching inside your building during daylight will result to increase in your cost of leaving, where by too much energy will be wasted in providing light to these respective areas through leaving electric lights on.

7.     Poor insulation properties

This is when your building tends to be hot during sunny conditions and cold during rainy seasons. But instead when the building is of good sound and proper insulation the behaviour of the house will favour the your people leaving in it. This is to say during wet season it will be warm inside and during hot season it will be cool inside your entire building.

8.     Corroded roofing materials

For example iron sheets, glazed tiles. Iron sheets on the top of your building when they are exposed to pitting corrosion, small holes begin to develop bridging a gap to penetration of rain water which weakens other building structures bellow it. This is to say weakening of roof timber trusses (timber rafters/metal rafters) and the cracking of ceiling hence risking lives of your family under these structures.

9.     Open/exposed buildings

These are the ones which require roofing to protect them from harsh weather conditions. If not done in time here you may incur a loss since all effects of weather conditions are always shooting directly to the building this will result to corrosion of used building materials thus incurring extra maintenance costs at an early age!

These also require to be closed up with( metal/aluminium/wooden) windows and doors before other kinds of work commences in order to promote security to your entire building as well as adding on its value.
