SADDLE ENGINEERING PLC (SE-Ethiopia or simply Saddle Engineering) was incorporated January 2006 in Ethiopia. In the same year SE engaged in different power projects as a sub-contractor, contractor, consultant and supplier of electrical materials to Ethiopian market. The company devised organizational structure so as to cover the power sector market needs in Ethiopia. SE in-sighted the emerging generation capacity of Ethiopia which was at that time not more than 1600 MW to extraordinarily jump to 10000MW, and the government of Ethiopian planned to reach a total generation capacity to be 35000 MW within 20 to 25 years. As a team of experts SE planned its corporate strategy to meet the infrastructure, investment, material need, expertise need, and the like.

SE with our affiliates have over 10 years of cumulative experience in the provision of a broad range of engineering services, solutions and products that cut across a broad range of issues such as Generation Infrastructures, Transmission Infrastructure, Substation Infrastructure, Distribution Structures , Collaborative Project Management, and Operation Support & Maintenance.
