(YUDINGOF) was formed in November 2008
in response to demands for better coordination of the NGO movement, mobilize
resource and improve service delivery as well as improving operating
environment. With a membership base of 35 CSOs, operating in different parts of
the district and persuing a wide range of thematic development areas of
health, community services, education, agriculture, energy, religion, among
others.
The purpose of YUDINGOF is to provide leadership to member organizations (MOs) for a collective voice for CSOs operating in Yumbe District through effective representation, coordination, Capacity/Institutional Capacity Building, Policy Analysis, Advocacy and Lobbying, Networking and Information Sharing, Promotion of Good Governance and Human Rights, partnerships, collaboration, research, community empowerment for better service delivery and social transformation for poverty reduction in Yumbe.
