  1. Ministry of Works and Transport has received funds to be used for the acquisition of Hotel Services (Workshops, Seminars and Conferences)
  2. The Entity invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above supplies
  3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open Open Domestic Bidding method contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003, and is open to all bidders.
  4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at 8(a) from 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM .
  5. The Bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below at 8(b) and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of 100,000 UGX. The method of payment will be Though the Bank
  6. Bids must be delivered to the address below at 8(c) at or before Friday, 15 Jul, 2016 . All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of 4,000,000 UGX or a bid securing declaration. Bid securities or bid securing declarations must be valid until Friday, 15 Jul, 2016 . Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 8(d) on 15/07/2016

    REPUBLIC OF UGANDA MINISTRY OF WORKS AND TRANSPORT INVITATION TO BIDDERS BID NOTICE UNDER OPEN BIDDING 17th June, 2016 PROCUREMENT OF HOTEL SERVICES UNDER FRAME WORK CONTRACT. PROC: MOWT/ NCONS/2015-16/00085 1. The Ministry of Works and Transport has allocated/received funds to be used for the acquisition of the above Services 2. The Entity invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above services. 3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open domestic bidding method contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003, and is open to all bidders. 4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the Ministry’s procurement and Disposal unit’s office from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday. 5. The Bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the Head Procurement and Disposal unit, Plot 57-59 Jinja Road, P.O Box 7174, Kampala and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 100,000/= (Uganda shillings: One Hundred Thousand). The method of payment will be bank advice payment form which may be obtained from Uganda Revenue Authority website and Banks 6. Bids must be delivered to ministry of works and Transport- Procurement and Disposal Unit Office at or before 15th July 2016 at 11:00 am (local time). All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of UGX 4,000,000/= (Uganda shillings Four Million Only). Bid securities must be valid until 10th February, 2017. Late bids shall be rejected.
