  1. Ministry of Works and Transport has received funds to be used for the acquisition of Insurance of academy aeroplanes,assets and personel
  2. The Entity invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above supplies
  3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open Open Domestic Bidding method contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003, and is open to all bidders.
  4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at 8(a) from - .
  5. The Bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below at 8(b) and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of 100,000 UGX. The method of payment will be Through bank
  6. Bids must be delivered to the address below at 8(c) at or before Wednesday, 29 Apr, 2015 . All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of 8,000,000 UGX or a bid securing declaration. Bid securities or bid securing declarations must be valid until Wednesday, 29 Apr, 2015 . Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 8(d) on 29/04/2015

The East African Civil Aviation Academy has been allocated funds from the Government of Uganda to be used for the acquisition of insurance services for Academy Aeroplanes, Assets and Personnel for twelve months. 2. The Entity invites sealed bids from eligible insurance companies for the provision of the above non consultancy services. 3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open domestic bidding a procedure contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003, and is open to all insurance companies eligible to bid. 4. Interested eligible insurance companies may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below in No. 8(a) from 8.00am – 5.00pm during working hours. 5. The Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested insurance companies on the submission of a written application to the address below at 8(b) and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 100,000 (One hundred thousand shillings only). 6. Bids must be delivered to the address below in No. 8(c) at or before 11.00am on 29th, April 2015. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of UGX 8,000,000 (Eight million shillings only), in form of a bank guarantee. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below in No. 8(d) on 29th, April 2015. 7. There shall not be a pre – bid meeting. 8.
