The Government of Uganda represented by the Ministry of Health has received funds from the United States Centres for Disease Control and Prevention to support a Cooperative Agreement (CoAg) with the Ministry. The MoH-CDC Cooperative Agreement (CoAg) is a strategic mechanism through the US Government through its Centre for Disease Control and Prevention supports the Uganda Ministry of Health to implement activities in line with its mandate in support of the public health response to HIV/AIDS and other Health Systems. This mechanism is currently supporting a 5-years programme entitled “Supporting the Uganda Ministry of Health to address the HIV/AIDS Response through Strengthening Health Systems”

Ministry of Health now invites eligible financial management firms to submit sealed expression of interest for provision of third-party financial management services.

The scope of work will range from review of general accounting procedures, review of disbursement of funds, monitoring project bank accounts, reviewing books of accounts and ledgers. Others will include reviewing bank reconciliation, payroll, financial reports and financial statements as prepared by the Project Coordination Unit (PCU).
