The Government of Uganda has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Development Response to Displacement Impacts Project (DRDIP), and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Procurement of 6 Brand New 4WD Double Cabin Pickups, 1 Station Wagon and 23 Motorcycles for DRDIP.
The Office of the Prime Minister now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for supply of 6 Brand New 4WD Double Cabin Pickups, 1 Station Wagon and 23 Motorcycles for DRDIP.
Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding procedures as specified in the World Bank's Guidelines: Procurement of Goods, Works and Non-Consulting Services under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers, and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines. In addition, please refer to paragraphs 1.6 and 1.7 setting forth the World Bank's policy on conflict of interest.

A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested eligible bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Ugx 100,000. The method of payment will be by Bank deposit upon acquiring a Bank advice slip from the Accounts section — OPM.
The document will be hand delivered to the Bidders upon presentation of evidence of payment of the Nonrefundable fee
Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 29th March, 2018 by 11:00am. Electronic bidding will NOT be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders' designated representatives and anyone who may choose to attend at the address below on 29th March, 2018 at 11:30 am. There will be a pre-bid meeting held at the address below on 19th March, 2018 at 2:30pm.
