TOTAL E&P, UGANDA B.V. ['COMPANY, an Oil and Gas Exploration and Production company, invites experienced and reputable suppliers to express interest to provide Welder Training and Certification Services.

TOTAL E&P, UGANDA has operations in Kampala, the Albertine region, other locations in Uganda and extending beyond the Uganda boarders.

1. The Welder Training & Certification Services will Include, but not limited to:

a) Propose and carry out a robust and fully documented selection process for candidates to be trained. This process should be explained in detail in the proposal.

b] Perform technical training of the selected candidates up to an international standard in 26 pipe welding and 46 structural welding coded levels in line with the industry standards or requirements, including but not limited to:

 • Enhance technical knowledge, skills and attitude in accordance with industry standards:

• Enhance competencies such as setting up of welding equipment, preparing.. materials, rting up weld materials to 2G pipe welding and 4G structural welding level.

c) Emphasize technical HSE aspects linked. welding operations (personal protection, safe work practices, fumes and vapor hazards, electrical risks, etc) as a module of training and certification process

d) Issue internationally recognized certifications 2G pipe welding and 4G structural welding (details of certifications to be specified in the proposal).

2. The CONTRACTOR shall provide detailed: Training programme and the course duration which shall include:

• Technical training plan

• Training location

• Course trainers' expertise

Minimum requirements:

a) Registration on the Petroleum Authority of Uganda (PAU) National supplier Database attire time of contract award

Experience Performance of similar services within Uganda, East Africa or internationally

c) Must have access to a vocational training facility in Uganda

d) ISO 9001& ISO 14001 certified will be added advantage

e) Possess qualified and experienced personnel

f) Financial capability. undertake the proposed services
