Background

1. Mulago National Referral Hospital is the main referral hospital in Uganda. Found. in 1913. The hospital has since expanded to provide referral services to both national and international patients and doubles as the main teaching hospital for the Makerere College of Health Sciences. The hospital also serves as a general hospital for the greater Kampala Metropolitan

2. Mulago National Referral Hospital has been allocated funds to be used for the Procurement of Motor Vehicles.

3. Mulago National Referral Hospital invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the supply of the following motor vehicles;

LOT 1. Executive Station Wagon --1 vehicle.

LOT 2. Double Cabin Pickup (4x4) — 4 vehicles.

4. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Open Domestic Bidding procedures contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003, and as amend. 2014.

 5. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at 8(a) from 8:00am to 5:00pm, local time.

6. The Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below at 8(a) and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 100,000= (One hundred Thou.. Uganda Shillings Only)

8. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 25. July 2018 11:00am. Late bids shall be reject.. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 8(b) at 12:00pm on 25. July 2017. Bids must be accompanied by the bid security of 1,000,000 (One million Ugandan shillings) in form of a Bank Guarantee from a reputable bank
