  1. Ministry of Works and Transport has received funds to be used for the acquisition of Supply of a surface Geo technical Drilling rig mounted on a brand new two- Axel wheeled diesel Engine Truck.
  2. The Entity invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above supplies
  3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open Open Domestic Bidding method contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003, and is open to all bidders.
  4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at 8(a) from 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM .
  5. The Bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below at 8(b) and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of 100,000 . The method of payment will be Through Bank - URA collection Account
  6. Bids must be delivered to the address below at 8(c) at or before Wednesday, 21 Nov, 2018 . All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of 46,400,000 or a bid securing declaration. Bid securities or bid securing declarations must be valid until . Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 8(d) on 21/11/2018

PROCUREMENT FOR SUPPLY OF A SURFACE GEOTECHNICAL DRILLING RIG MOUNTED ON A BRAND NEW TWO-AXEL WHEELED DIESEL ENGINE TRUCK: PROCUREMENT REF NO: MoWT/SUPLS/17-18/00099 The Ministry of Works and Transport (MoWT) has allocated funds towards supporting the Development of a National Construction Industry Budget, a portion of which is to be used towards eligible payments for the cost of procuring a Surface Geotechnical Drilling Rig mounted on a brand new two-axel -wheeled Diesel Engine Truck with all the required Accessories and consumables. 1. The Ministry of Works and Transport now invites written sealed bids from eligible bidders to undertake the execution of Supply and Delivery of Surface Geotechnical drilling rig as stipulated in the bidding documents. 2. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Open Domestic Bidding procedures contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003 and are open to all bidders from eligible source countries. Envelopes containing sealed bids must be marked with the above procurement reference number on the top right corner indicating the subject of procurement for which the bid is being submitted. 3. In order to be qualified for award of contract, bidders shall provide satisfactory evidence to the Employer of their experience, technical and financial capability as well as availability of resources to execute the contract effectively. The minimum experience requirements for qualification for the contract are as indicated in the bid document. 4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from MOWT and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below from 09:00 am (Local time) to 5:00 pm (Local time) during working days. 5. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders upon submission of a written application on bidder’s letter head to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 200,000 (Uganda shillings Two Hundred Thousand only). The method of payment will be through the bank – URA collection account. It’s upon the presentation of a satisfactory evidence of payment that the bidder will be issued the bid documents. No liability will be accepted for loss or late delivery. 6. Bids clearly marked “SUPPLY OF A SURFACE GEOTECHNICAL DRILLING RIG MOUNTED ON A BRAND NEW TWO-AXEL WHEELED DIESEL ENGINE TRUCK: PROCUREMENT REF NO: MoWT/SUPLS/18-19/00099 ” must be delivered to the address below at or before 11:00 am local time on 21st November,2018. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of UGX 46,400,000. Bid securities in form of Bank Guarantee must be valid until 17th June, 2019. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives, who choose to attend at the address below at 11:15 am on 21st November, 2018. 7.
