ALIGHT (Formerly American Refugee Committee), an International Non-Governmental Organization (INGO) registered with the Government of Uganda, has been operational since 1994. Alight is working across Uganda providing a multi-sectoral/integrated response to Refugee and Host Communities aimed at improving the well-being and resilience of refugees displaced by conflict and the communities that host them via comprehensive Protection Services including Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV) and Child Protection, Sustainable Livelihoods (SL), Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH).
