1. Makerere University is in the process of developing a short list of providers from which bidders will be invited to bid.

2. Makerere University now invites suitably qualified bidders to submit sealed pre-qualification submissions for Supply of Building Materials, Supply of Road Maintenance Materials (Bitumen, Culverts, Pavers, Murum, Paving Slabs etc.), Supply of computers and ICT Equipment, Supply of Assorted Office Stationery and Small equipment, Supply of Assorted ICT Consumables and accessories (Cartridges/Toners, Drum Unit), Supply of Electrical Equipment, Materials and Accessories, Supply of Generators/Water pumps, Supply of Motor Vehicles/Cycles, Supply of Air Conditioners and Accessories, Supply of Paints & Painting Materials, Supply of Carpentry Materials, Supply of Petroleum Products and Lubricants, Supply of Motor vehicle/Cycle Tyres, Supply of Plumbing materials, Supply of Mechanical workshop Materials (welding, burglar proofing) etc, Supply of Laboratory/ Medical Equipment, Apparatus and Chemicals….

3. Pre-qualification submissions will be evaluated in accordance with the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003 as amended of the Government of Uganda. Pre-qualification is open to all eligible bidders.

4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from The Procurement and Disposal Unit, Makerere University C5 and inspect the pre-qualification document at the address given below, from 8.30 a.m. - 5.00 p.m. or the university website www.rgc.ac.0 The pre-qualification documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX. 50,000 (Fifty Thousand only) per Lot.

5. The method of payment will be either by bank draft in the names of Makerere University Council or by cash payment at Stanbic Bank, Makerere University Branch, A/C No. 9030005964309 MUC Miscellaneous Revenue and thereafter get a receipt from the University revenue office in the Main Administration Building. The document may thereafter be collected from the Procurement and Disposal Unit, upon presentation of the receipt.

6. (a) Pre-qualification submissions must be delivered to the address below at or before 10.00am of 18th May 2018 clearly indicating the Lot No and Category. Late Submissions shall be rejected. Ag .Procurement Manager Procurement and Disposal Unit Lincoln Flats C5,

7. Makerere University reserves the right to accept or reject any application or all applications.
